Front Desk Customer Service Representative

Part Time • Wake Forest
Excited about selling memberships and persuading potential members to sign up for the life saving skill of swim lessons.  Provides over-the-top quality customer service to align with our company core value of "Wow!  Customer Service".  Acts as the face of the company and responsible for presenting a positive image for the company. Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1.  Selling memberships to and persuading community members to enroll in lessons; ultimately reducing the staggering drowning statistics.   
2.  Answers telephones, responds to inquiries, takes messages and screens and directs phone calls in a professional manner.
3. Able to work in a fast paced environment and able to thrive while multi-tasking. 
4. Schedules and manages birthday/pool parties. Supervises birthday party staff.
5. Resolves customer concerns/complaints using a professional approach.
6. Assists clients with purchases of merchandise and vending.
7. Greets, Stands, and Smiles when parents and students enter the building, providing GOLDEN experience.  
8. Maintains cleanliness of the front desk area, snack shack area, changing areas, restrooms, and observation area. 
9. Monitors snack shack area and provides guidance to snack shack staff. 
10. Checks voicemail and email correspondence and responds in a timely manner. 
11. Updates informational displays with accurate and timely promotions and literature. 
12. Provides occasional administrative support for management personnel to include the General Manager, and the Asst. General Manager. 
13. Makes collection calls to resolve open account problems. 
14. Prepares twice daily student lesson schedules for use by instructors and management staff. 
15. Enforces safety rules and regulations to prevent accidents. Administers first aid when necessary. 

Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED. Some college preferred. Previous sales and customer service experience recommended. Intermediate level computer skills required using Word, Excel and other software systems.
